My Peanut boy started back to preschool today. It's his last year before heading off to big school with Annabelle. He has been excited since last year when he had already decided which teacher he wanted. Of course he wanted the one who sings "Rocky Top" with him even when it is not football season. All weekend long he kept asking if it was time to go to school. Then this morning happened. Dressed in his new shirt and what he declared his "special" shorts we were ready to head out the door. Or so I thought. In the driveway at home this morning....meltdown #1 over a box of markers. I coaxed him in the car by putting the box in his backpack telling myself they would be removed once we got to school and he wouldn't know. Silly Mommy!! ;) School parking lot...meltdown #2, Mommy removed the box of markers from the backpack. Oy vey. Promises of fun inside and we were again on our way. We stopped for a picture in front of the school sign although my boy did NOT smile. Same thing with the picture inside. Wait for that one to appear on the blog tomorrow. It's a real classic! We made it down the hall to his classroom...meltdown #3 and this time my friends it was U.G.L.Y and my boy had no alibi!!! I left my baby kicking, screaming and being wrangled in the floor by his super sweet teacher. I contemplated the photo op but ran along my way and figured I would try for good pics Wednesday. haha
I went back to the oral surgeon today. Not much to be said about that other than it sucked. I am ready for this mess with my mouth to be over which means I will likely just say no to the one surgical option (that may or may not even work) he gave me.
I wish that when people had a problem or took issue with something you did or did not do to their liking that they would address you with said situation rather than "gossip" and/or discuss another person and then have it get back to me. Does that make sense? I hate gossip and drama yet it seems to be finding me at this time. I am realizing that one person I thought was once a friend is not. I am debating whether to address the issue as a whole with the group it affects OR just directly airing it out with the person who feeds off the drama. Either way, I hate that I am in a position to think about either.
I love the show House Hunters. I especially love House Hunters International.
I don't recall being so picky about things when we were house shopping. After watching many episodes of this show I certainly wish we had been!
I heard a noise in the house that sounded like our toilet was gurgling. I sat wondering why I could hear it from the hall bathroom to the living room with the tv on and the washer going. LOL My hubby informed me that it is the water cooler in the kitchen! Go ahead, laugh.

Hate drama.
Love House Hunters, especially International! So cool to see how people live in different countries! I'd like to know either how some people can afford those nice second homes or how much in debt they are!
I LOVE house hunters too! And the nit picky-ness gets on my nerves sooo bad! I mean yes be picky on same things but to be like "oh my this room sure is pink!".. buy a can of paint! geesh! That kind of thing gets on my nerves! LOL
Ugh, so, shame time, I used to be one of those gossipers. I'd talk to the person face to face. They will likely get defensive, so be prepared.
I had to go to the ortho today..for what I thought was my last adjustment. But no. I have another in 4 weeks THEN the braces might come off 4 weeks after that. Sigh. They had wanted to do a whole bunch of manipulation in my face to get a 'perfect' smile...but I told them to get the best they could without needing to pull teeth.
And we have HH & HHIntl season-passed on our DVR. We love that show. I get so angry too, when people are looking at houses 5-10k below their top budget...and are complaining about the appliances. WTF. The appliances are replaceable!
bummer about peanut having a hard first day...how did the rest of it go after you left? And drama is NOT my friend...hoping it gets better for you. hang in there
